Job Search Tools for Justice involved individuals
MN Department of Corrections staff assist those on supervision with job searching, interviewing skills and tools to maintain employment. Staff may also provide letter of recommendations and/or referrals when appropriate.

Programming for Justice-Involved Individuals
MN Dept. of Corrections Staff partner with other local resources to ensure access for those on Community Supervision to Case Management, Cognitive Programming, Men’s Domestic Violence Program and Sex Offender Treatment Programming, etc.

Referrals for Justice-Involved Individuals
MN Dept. of Corrections Staff collaborate with other service and resource providers. Staff will make referrals for Court ordered programming as well as voluntary programming, as appropriate. This can include employment, housing, substance abuse treatment, mental health services and support as well as gambling services and other cognitive therapy.

Sentence to Service (STS)
Providing assistance such as yard work, construction of handicap ramps, snow removal, and community improvement projects such as town hall restorations, fairground projects, and watershed projects, through STS.

Supervision within in the Community
MN Dept of Corrections provides Adult and Juvenile Probation and Supervised Release (Parole) Supervision within the community. This includes (Adult) Intensive Supervised Release (ISR) and those released through the Challenge Incarceration Program (CIP). Those on supervision within the community may be involved in a Specialty Court (Drug, DWI, other) or a Restorative Justice program/process. Supervision within the community includes face to face contacts, oversight of conditions ordered by the Court, and working towards goals (target behavior) that reduce recidivism.
